Eva Longoria was born on March 15, 1975 at Texas, USA. Eva is a Mexican-American Catholic, and her parents are Enrique Longoria Jr and Ella Eva Mireles. In texas they worked in the farm land and struggled during their initial days. However things improved after Eva Logoria entered into show business. She attened Roy Miller High School and received her Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology at Texas. Soon after college Longoria entered a talent contest which let her to Los Angeles.

Longoria was married to General Hospital star Tyler Christopher from January 20, 2002, to January 19, 2004, and she was also known as Eva Longoria Christopher. There was a talk that she was romantically linked to successful writer Milan Gracanin, ex-NSYNC member JC Chasez, actor Mousir Syed and Life. On November 30, 2006, she became engaged to Spurs point guard Tony Parker. The two called in to the Ryan Seacrest radio show to announce it. She said the way he proposed was "perfect, personal, and sweet." After playing against the Utah Jazz, Parker flew out to Los Angeles, which was unexpected because she never thought he would come there after the game. She got off work at about midnight and found Parker waiting for her. The couple were officially married on July 6, 2007 because French law requires couples who marry to make their vows official at a city hall. They had their lavish church wedding on July 7, 2007 in Paris. Although they are now happily married, Eva's boss Marc Cherry has insisted that Eva Longoria does not get pregnant for a year as it hasn't been written into the storylines for Desperate Housewives during the fourth season (2007-8).

Eva Longoria did her first television role in 2000, guest starring in an episode of Beverly Hills. Her appearance in General Hospital the same year was widely apprised and brought her a big break on the popular American Soap Opera The Young and the Restless in which she appeared from 2001 to 2003.

In 2004 she stared in Desperate Housewives which was a big hit. In 2005 she was nominated for a Gloden Globe for best performance by actress in a Television Series. Also she was named as the best entertainer of the year in the same year. Eva Longoria of the hit TV series Desperate Housewives is getting tired of filming sex scenes because they leave her uncomfortable. According to a website, Longoria says that fans only see the glamour but miss the discomfort of the sweating and the injuries. In an interview after a fake sex scene she said: “The toughest part is wearing this robe because it’s 100 degrees outside and 200 degrees inside (the robe). I’m sweating and jumping on the bed and yelling and moaning. I thought I was going to pass out, it was so hot. And I’ve got comforter burns on my legs.”

On June 14, 2007, the Spurs won the 2007 NBA Finals in Cleveland, Ohio against the Cavaliers, and Parker was honored as the Finals MVP for the series. Eva Longoria was shown wiping tears as Parker was awarded the trophy.

Eva Longoria will be strutting her stuff as a sexy school inspector in a new comedy movie. The Desperate Housewives’ star has joined American Pie actor Jason Biggs for Lower Learning, which tells the story of officials investigating a school with the lowest test scores in the state.

Eva’s character will unearth in-house affairs and bribery, while Jason will play the vice principal of the Barry Goldwater Elementary School. The movie will be directed by Mark Lafferty, whose previous credits include spoof horror The Seventh Sense.
