Katie Holmes has stepped out publicly for the first time
since filing for divorce from husband Tom Cruise last week.
Katie was leaving Parsons The New School of Design in
midtown Manhattan, where she was reportedly shooting an episode of ‘Project
Runway: All Stars.â€
Wearing a blue dress and ponytail, the soft-spoken
actress, did not try to hide the fact that she ditched her wedding ring.
According to reports, Katie was driven to file for
divorce, because she feared that her daughter Suri would be inducted into a
hardcore Scientology priesthood.
Since the split Katie has also allegedly cleaned house by
firing her old Cruise-imposed security detail.
She certainly it transitioning to a new beginning!
