After a month of buzz claiming the 22-year-old beauty was being considered to star alongside Ben Affleck in the upcoming Warner Bros. comedy âFocus,â Kristen herself has revealed she nabbed the role.
âI can confirm that rumor,â she told The Huffington Post of the casting news.
The actress, whose latest movie âBreaking Dawn â" Part 2â (the final film in âThe Twilight Sagaâ) is still burning up the box office, is thrilled to be getting a humorous change of pace.
âItâs a comedy. Iâm really excited about it,â she told the website. âWe start shooting in April.â
Kristen will play a rookie con artist alongside Ben, who will play an experienced swindler. The fraud-loving pairâs relationship grows complicated when they begin to develop romantic feelings for one another.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Glenn Ficarra and John Requa (âCrazy, Stupid, Love.â) will direct âFocus,â while Denise DiNovi (âThe Lucky One,â âSisterhood of the Traveling Pantsâ) is set to produce.
