Mumbai: Mumbai has registered yet another shocking case of crime related to the world of glitz and crime.
Bidushi Dash Barde, a 23 year old model-turned actor, was found murdered in her apartment in Andheri on Monday. Basically from Chennai, Bidushi was at home alone on the ill-fated day when her husband Kedar Barde, a software engineer found her lying in a pool of blood at their residence.
The Mumbai police had initially registered a case of accidental death but on discovering wounds on her body and based on the postmortem reports, they re-registered it as a case of murder.
Talking to a leading daily Additional Commissioner Vishwas Nangre-Patil said, “A female resident of the building has told us that she clearly saw a visitor at Bidushi`s door. Based on her statement and the nature of injuries sustained by Bidushi, we have registered a case of murder on Tuesday.â€
The police said, “Kedar noticed that the lights were switched off but the television set was on. He then came across Bidushi`s blood-splattered body in the passage between the bathroom and the bedroom. A glass shelf was lying broken near her and glass shards were found protruding from Bidushi`s cheek, jaw, neck and chin. There were also fingernail marks on her face as well as head injuries.â€
Bidushi’s father said that his daughter was very happy in Mumbai and had never fought with anyone. So he wondered what might have led to the murder.
