Talking about the stars salaries to the BBC he laughed, “Yeah that thing died†when asked if stars could still command upwards of ten million dollars a movie adding “that arithmetic doesn’t really work right now… that deal’s not flying these daysâ€
Ten million? How can anyone possibly live on that?
Mr Pitt himself is thought to pocket a respectable twenty five millions bucks a year while topping the Forbes earners list was Tom Cruise banking a staggering seventy five million dollars annually.
So if you ever become a top star earner, spend your ten million a movie very wisely, these are tough economic times folks.
