Christina Aguilera may have proved she is a fighter, but she’ll have to fight hard to convince us that this dress was the right choice. 

The 31-year-old singer-songwriter wasn’t looking her best at the 2012 NCLR ALMA Awards, where she stepped out in a figure-hugging black lace number. 

The floor-length Michael Kors gown, with cut-out lace sections, clung to her body in all the wrong places. 

The Voice judge also debuted her new hair do – a two-toned pink-and-purple pony tail. 

But it was a successful night for Christina as she was honoured with a trophy at the awards night, which highlighted the best American Latino contributions to music, film and television. 

It just shows that what really matters is her voice within!
