More details are beginning to emerge about the causes of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis’ break up, and according to sources the couple were arguing in the run up to their separation.
The former model and aspiring singer is said to have resented her partner’s successful acting career, causing huge tension in their relationship.
According to US Weekly, they had ‘blazing fights’ with Vanessa feeling she’d sacrificed her career for his, and Paradis began ‘taking out her frustrations’ on him.
And the couple are said to have called it quits in 2010, after Vanessa decided that she could not go on, but decided not to announce it.
They have 13-year-old daughter Lily-Rose, and 10-year-old son Jack together and have done their best to keep the break-up civil for the sake of the youngsters.
While we’ve been so occupied by the break up of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, we almost forgot about another of this year’s high profile splits! We’re still sad that things didn’t work out for Johnny and Vanessa, they seemed like such a great couple.
