Katie Holmes Hinted at Divorce?

Katie Holmes’ recent interview with Elle magazine took place before she filed for divorce, but it’s clear that a life change was on her mind. 

The actress tells the upcoming issue that she’s entering a new phase as an individual, and seems like she’s hinting that it doesn’t include being Mrs. Tom Cruise. 

Katie says she knows who she is, where she is, and where she wants to go… And that’s where her focus is.  

According to the New York Post’s page six, the one thing she wasn’t focused on was Tom… She reportedly tells the magazine that Tom’s been Tom Cruise for 30 years, implying she has no interest in being defined by that. 

But was he her career crutch? Well, Katie says things are not handed to anyone, so her A-list partner just caused her to work harder for individual achievements. 

Now the world knows she’s filed for divorce and sole custody of Suri, that “where she wants to go” part is a little less cryptic.
