President Barack Obama will celebrate his 51st birthday at home in Chicago with his family and.. oh you know.. just a few hundred campaign supporters.

All the better if they’re famous.

The president will be ringing in his new year raising money for his reelection campaign.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Vogue editor Anna Wintour hosted a high-profile fundraiser for Obama earlier this summer, where stars like Meryl Streep showed up to show their support.

George Clooney threw a similar dinner at his LA home before that.

Indeed the 44th U.S. president has had significant support from the Hollywood community â€" starting four years ago during his first presidential campaign.

With a tight race against republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney ahead of him, he’s likely counting on similar support this year.
