Rihanna Fans Crash Gare Du Nord to Try and Catch a Glimpse of the SingerSplash - The latest celebrity news including updates on Justin Bieber, Robert Pattinson and more is the world's leading source of celebrity news.
Singer Rihanna might have under estimated her super star status as she tweeted the arrival time of her Eurostar train at the Gare du Nord station in Paris.
But last night the singer was not so popular after being accused of causing a ‘riot’ at the station.
The 24-year-old was swamped by hundreds of screaming fans as she arrived in the French capital on Saturday night.
Afterwards, the Barbados born star tweeted a foul-mouthed rant against the French to her millions of followers, adding: “I just had to fight my way out of a damn train station!”
However a security chief returned the singer’s comments claiming her behaviour was “utterly irresponsible”.
He said: “It was absolute chaos, and all Rihannaâs fault. Fans had her train number and its arrival time.
“The result was a mass of people waiting on the platform.”
French newspaper Le Parisien described the episode as a âriot in Parisâ, and blamed the chaos on Ri Ri.
The security source also added that Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger and Gwyneth Paltrow had recently travelled âincognitoâ on the Eurostar.
He added: “There is never any problem because these celebrities donât tell the world.
“They are gracious, well-mannered and modest.”
