She may be busy cracking America, but it turns out Cher Lloyd’s popularity has also spread to the other side of the world. 

The Swagger Jagger singer was overwhelmed when she saw how many Aussie fans had turned out to meet her as she landed in Sydney on Sunday evening. 

Around 100 teenage “Brats” arrived to welcome the former X Factor contestant and inundated the pint sized star. 

Cher’s fiancé, Craig Monk, said it was the “craziest” reception the 19-year-old singer has received on her world tour supporting American band, Hot Chelle Rae. 

Putting his arm around the diminutive star as they walked through the arrival hall, Cher was forced to appeal for calm, telling her fans “I appreciate you have all come here to see me, and it does mean a lot. But you’re going to have to respect me in some sort of way!” 

She then spent 20 minutes posing for pictures and signing autographs before later strutting her stuff in stage in a polka dot mini dress.
