It’s officially the end of an era, Upper Eastsiders.

After six series of scandal, sex and socialites, Gossip Girl has wrapped and the cast and crew have been celebrating. 

And how did Penn Badgley mark the end? By shaving his hair off! 

The actor, best known for playing Dan Humphrey, posed with his cast mates and showed off a new close-cropped ‘do. 

Penn’s co-star Chace Crawford tweeted several images of their final day on set, which also featured on-screen mean girl Michelle Trachtenberg and British actor Ed Westwick.  

Celebrating the occasion, the stars seemed to be covered in more cake than they actually managed to eat as they partied on set. 

So it seems it really is xoxo Gossip Girl!
