George Clooney seems like he’s always dealing with serious political issues around the world, but his next focus isn’t even on this planet. 

The actor is one of the newest A-listers attached to a sci-fi, alien project. 

According to Variety, he’s starring in 1952, where he makes contact with extra-terrestrials… 

But Tom Cruise has been there, done that, and he’s heading back again… Tom’s reportedly starring in a sci-fi war movie, All You Need is Kill, where after dying a battle against aliens, he has to re-fight his day of death multiple times… Picture Groundhog Day with lots of Martian combat. 

Well, considering Tom and George are super stars… We guess it’s no surprise they’re heading to space.
