Beyonce has been making her political allegiance known as she posted a snap of her vote for President Obama on her Tumblr page. 

The singer also penned a touching public letter to the President, expressing her ‘respect and adoration’ for the leader. 

As Americans head to the polls to cast their vote in the 2012 election, the singer wrote in her letter: “President Obama, everyday we see your heart and character, inspiring all of us to give more of ourselves’. 

The Crazy in Love singer gave huge praise to the democrat, writing that “you are the reason my daughter and nephew will grow up knowing that they can truly be ANYTHING they want to be”. 

The singer was looking fierce with her pout, full blonde fringe and long dark nails. 

Beyonce and her husband Jay Z took a break from supporting the President last night as they sat front row at the Brooklyn Nets game in Brooklyn.
