Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell have been planning on getting married for years, but now they’re engaged in something new…  Becoming first time parents.  

According to People magazine, the happy couple is expecting their first child, and they’re ecstatic. 

But don’t think they didn’t plan for this. 

The couple reportedly told The View that they would likely have a child before they walked down the aisle, because they don’t plan on getting married till same-sex marriage is legal in California… 

Dax says they wouldn’t feel right inviting all their friends to help celebrate their wedding, if all of their friends legally couldn’t. 

And the progressive future parents have also reportedly said the idea of kids before marriage doesn’t bother them. 

When it comes to having a kid… They’re not kidding.
