Has Katy Perry severed her friendship with Rihanna

Ready for a Katy Perry and Rihanna rumor?

Because it sounds like the famous best friends have had a falling out.

The New York Daily News reports that Rihanna’s new relationship with Chris Brown has caused some tension and that Rihanna and Katy are barely talking.

The report claims that Perry even skipped out on RiRi’s Halloween party â€" you  know, the one where Chris showed up dressed like a terrorist –  and Katie feels that Rihanna is making a huge mistake and doesn’t want to be a part of it.

It’s no secret that Chris Brown was convicted of assaulting Rihanna back in 2009, and many thought the two would be over and done for good.

But fast forward a few years later and that may not be the case.

Rihanna and Katy’s friendship has been widely documented so for a split to come between them be something serious.

The last time they were seen together was the MTV Video Music Awards in September…and that night Rihanna publicly planted a kiss on Chris, much to everyone’s surprise. 

No telling if Katy and RiRi are done for good or if they’ll pick up the pieces and try to fix what’s broken.

Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
